Expanded metal shall be of the following types, classes, and grades, as specified:
| Type I | Standard Expanded Metals – sheet size 6′ x 8′ unless otherwise specified. |
| Type II | Flattened Expanded Metals – sheet size 4′ x 8′ unless otherwise specified. |
| Class 1 | Uncoated mill finish. |
| Class 2 | Hot dip zinc (galvanized) coated. |
| Grade A | 0.0025 inch minimum coating thickness. |
| Grade B | 0.0012 inch minimum coating thickness. |
